The Good

  • Vitamins B6 and B12 are good supporting ingredients
  • Boron is another great choice, but its dose is hidden in a proprietary blend
  • Doesn't use stimulants

The Bad

  • Missing a few important t boosters
  • Uses a proprietary blend - individual ingredient doses aren't shown on the label
  • Fenugreek sacrifices other important hormones (e.g. DHT) to help raise testosterone
  • We didn't notice any difference after 3 weeks of trialing it

Here’s our complete Testovox Review.

Testovox is a testosterone booster and muscle-building support supplement designed to help you on your fitness journey. It’s made by a company of the same name, and claims to:

  • Boost muscle growth
  • Increase energy levels
  • Supercharge performance
  • Enhance testosterone and libido

Because of its name, you might assume that this product is all about boosting testosterone. But it turns out it aims to do more than that.

According to Testovox’s manufacturers, this is an all-round men’s health formula. It’s designed for not just amateurs but also pros and bodybuilders who want to burn fat and look more shredded. This is what they promise, and their online reviews look impressive.

But is it all it’s said to be? We find out in the following sections!

What do we recommend?

>The 3 Best Natural Test Boosters<

Testovox Review – The Basics

First things first, how does Testovox work?

Basically, this product is intended to affect your body’s endocrine system (aka, your hormones) so that you feel better from having optimized testosterone levels, and reduced cortisol (stress hormone).

It doesn’t work like steroids, and it doesn’t cause a dependency. Instead, it uses a wide range of herbs, plant extracts, vitamins, minerals, and other natural compounds that have been shown in research to positively affect our body’s ability to make testosterone, build muscle, and burn fat.

Okay, awesome. That sounds great. But does Testovox actually work? Are the ingredients good enough to cause these positive changes? Let’s dig deeper.

How to Use Testovox (Dosage Instructions)

Testovox dosage is 2 capsules per day. Since the bottle contains 60 capsules, this means it’ll last you a full month if you follow the recommended instructions.

We do appreciate the conveniency of taking just 2 capsules at once. You take them and then you go on with your day, while your testosterone levels start rising. Sounds too good to be true? That’s because it is!

Taking a test booster only once or twice per day is not the best way to go about it.

Your body will only reap the benefits of Testovox’s ingredients for only a few hours after the initial dose. And then what? Well… then you’re back to baseline.

You need 3-4 daily servings, spread evenly throughout the day. This is the ideal scenario. If you use a testosterone booster with this kind of serving size, you can rest assured your T production is being supported all day and night.

Ingredients

Testovox doesn’t have the most impressive nutrient profile we’ve seen. The biggest downside for us is the proprietary blend. This basically means some of the ingredients have been put into a concoction which doesn’t tell you how much of each ingredient is inside. You can only see the total amount of the blend.

Still, it’s not all terrible with Testovox. It uses a few of our favorite ingredients, such as boron and zinc. It also has Fenugreek, but its dosage is unfortunately masked so we don’t know if it’s effective or safe. Testovox would be a much better formula if it was more transparent, if it threw out a few ineffective fillers, and if it added more proven ingredients in their places, such as vitamin D or magnesium.

testovox ingredients label facts

1. Vitamin B6 – Good Foundational Ingredient

Your body needs vitamin B6 for numerous functions. This includes keeping the immune system strong, ensuring healthy communication between brain cells and making you more resilient to stress and toxins.

Vitamin B6 can also assist you on your bodybuilding journey. It’s shown to affect testosterone production and lead to improved muscle growth, but only when deficient. So if you’re already eating a diet that’s rich in vitamin B6, there’s not much it can help you with. See more on vitamin B6 and its science-backed effects here: https://examine.com/supplements/vitamin-b6/

2. Vitamin B12 – Basic Mind and Body Support

This is another basic yet foundational nutrient for our body and mind. You need vitamin B12 to make red blood cells, facilitate oxygenation of muscle tissue, and a lot more. You probably know of people who’re anemic due to vitamin B12 deficiency. And those aren’t just vegans.

As we age, our body loses the ability to absorb vitamin B12, and since we don’t store it in the body, it’s easy to become deficient. Supplementing is a good idea but you have to be careful about a few things. Try not to take vitamin B12 alone, but instead, as a part of a whole-food B complex. This ensures optimal absorption of B12 in a natural ratio with other B vitamins. Testovox included the methylcobalamin form of B12 too, which is more bioavailable – good job. See a research paper on vitamin B12 here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3257642/

3. Zinc – Helps Prevent Testosterone Dips

This is a very important trace mineral, which Testovox has included in big amounts – 25mg per serving.

The dosage could be a little lower though. At this range, it has the potential to cause some ugly side effects, such as extreme stomach pains and diarrhea. I’ve personally experienced this and it’s terrible. Not everyone reacts the same to zinc, but I’d still recommend taking it with a big meal to avoid the side effects.

See a zinc study on testosterone here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16648789

4. Chromium – Supports Healthy Blood Sugar Levels

This is another supporting ingredient in Testovox.

It won’t help you build muscle, supercharge your testosterone levels, or burn fat directly, but it does help with certain aspects of health and performance. It’s known for balancing our sugar levels after eating a meal. This means you’ll feel less sluggish from your lunch. See a chromium weight loss study here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20192914

5. Sodium – Uneccessary Filler Ingredient

This is a completely pointless ingredient in Testovox.

Not only that, but most of us already have too much sodium in our diets. If you’re 40+, you could be at risk of certain health issues by consuming too much of this ingredient. It would be more prudent to put something like Ashwagandha or D-Aspartic Acid here – both known to boost muscle growth and testosterone.

6. “Hardcore Testosterone Amplifying, Muscle Growth Complex” – Fancy Sounding Proprietary Blend With Questionable Ingredients

Here we come to the most concerning part of Testovox’s formula. This is a proprietary blend consisting of mixture of ingredients, ranging from decent ones like boron to ones that have no proof of them helping with male health and performance in any way, such as Cha de Bugre.

In fact, there’s one ingredient in this blend that some men reported having aggravated prostate from, and it’s Tribulus Terrestris. This entire blend weighs 732mg, but we don’t know how much of each ingredient is in there. We also don’t know if the doses are effective, and worse, if they’re safe.

Anything Missing?

Testovox has some good ingredients, such as boron and fenugreek. Both are found in some of the best test boosters in the market right now. It’s just a shame their dosages aren’t disclosed.

As for the missing ingredients, we’d like to see vitamin D included. This is probably the best natural testosterone booster you can take. If you don’t have the money to buy a really good testosterone boosting formula, then consider taking a cheap vitamin D supplement. On its own, it has the potential to offer some amazing benefits for your mood, energy levels and muscle building.

A few other ingredients we’d like to see in Testovox that are currently rated as the best testosterone boosters are:

  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Indole-3-Carbinol (from broccoli)
  • Vitamin K2
  • Panax Ginseng

Side Effects – Is Testovox Safe?

Yes, Testovox should be safe. Although this test booster isn’t fully transparent with some of its ingredients, they aren’t known to cause any serious side effects. Reports from other users confirm this. Most people didn’t have any serious problems while using Testovox. So you should be alright.

As for us, none from our team had any issues using this testosterone booster either. We didn’t feel much at all, but that’s a topic we’ll get more into below.

Testovox Bodybuilding Customer Reviews

There are plenty of Testovox bodybuilding reviews online, including on websites like Reddit and Amazon. We don’t like to rely on them too much, though. Why? Because you never know how accurate these testimonials are. They could easily be manipulated or moderated to make the product appear better or worse than it is.

Nonetheless, you might still want to know a bit about what others said about Testovox, that’s understandable. Here are a few interesting reports we’ve found:

“My friend recommended I try this product. He said it helped him lift heavier and maintain his body weight. As for me, the only thing I noticed was that my appetite was more in control and my weight stayed about the same. I can’t say that it’s a bad product since everybody’s body responds differently. It didn’t do much for me thou, so maybe it will be different for you.

NiteCrawler760 (Amazon Customer)

“I have tried other supplements with mediocre results. Testovox surprised me the most! I felt energized after my first week of use. I go to the gym regularly and noticed a change in my level of stamina throughout my normal workout routine. Great product!

W. TYLER (Amazon Customer)

“Really didn’t see much results in muscle gains but stamina levels increased. This is similar to placebo getting you hyped up thinking you’ll see results in minimal time but I really did not.

Testovox Before and After – What Can You Expect?

So, what are some of the before and after results you can expect from using Testovox?

In our experience, it didn’t work as well as the marketing claims said it would. In fact, none of us (except for Gabriel) noticed anything from this testosterone booster/fat burner at all. We trialed it for 3 weeks and nothing happened.

Gabriel did experience nausea once. Most likely due to high amounts of zinc inside, and because he took it on an empty stomach. But apart from that, there’s not a lot we can share about this supplement. That’s not to say that some of the ingredients didn’t work behind the scenes – the best example that comes to mind is vitamin B12 – but whatever it was, it wasn’t enough for us to notice a difference.

Pros and Cons

The Good

  • A few good supporting ingredients, such as vitamin B6 and B12
  • Fenugreek and boron are great ingredients, it’s just a shame they’re masked in a prop blend

The Bad

  • It’s an underwhelming supplement
  • We didn’t notice any benefits from using it
  • Missing a few important ingredients, such as Panax Ginseng and vitamin D
  • Proprietary blend prevents from knowing how safe or effective the ingredients in it are

Conclusion to Testovox Review

So that brings our Testovox Review to an end.

On the whole, Testovox didn’t impress us at all. We’re left wondering how many people will buy this supplement and then later regret spending their money.

Listen, I don’t want to sound too harsh. Maybe this testosterone/muscle building supplement will work for you. But for me, Gabriel, and the rest of our team, it didn’t do a thing. Many customer reviews online say the same.

But even if we put our experiences aside, just looking at Testovox’s label tells you it’s an incomplete, ineffective supplement. Apart from a few basic vitamins and minerals, all it has is a proprietary blend. This tells us the manufacturer wasn’t confident enough to show the doses of some of the ingredients on the label.

So in summary, these are the three main reasons why we wouldn’t recommend Testovox to our readers:

  1. Uses proprietary blends – You don’t know how effective it will be, and if the doses are safe
  2. Omitted core ingredients – Testovox has skipped a number of essential test boosting ingredients.
  3. Some pointless fillers – Why sodium? It just takes up capsule space, and we already get plenty of it from our diets.

What’s Better?

We do reviews on over 40 testosterone booster supplements every year, searching for the most effective, research-backed formula on the market.

Some of our criteria include:

  • Must support testosterone naturally and safely
  • 100% clean, legal ingredients
  • Long-term and short-term benefits
  • Energy, Mood and Libido
  • Brand Trustworthiness
  • Value for money
