We’ll answer two key questions: can it really reduce your stress hormones so you can fall asleep faster, and can it improve your metabolism during sleep so you burn more calories?

[SCULPT NATION BURN PM SUMMARY] This supplement has nailed the “PM” part, but not the “Burn” part. Sculpt Nation Burn PM has effective sleep aids that will sedate you and reduce stress hormones. Meanwhile, fat-burning ingredients don’t look as impressive. Sculpt Nation Burn PM is missing an appetite suppressant and other core ingredients — such as a thermogenic. It only contains two carb blockers which may reduce the blood sugar spike you get after eating carbs. In terms of actual weight loss, Sculpt Nation Burn PM is unlikely to burn any calories while you sleep.

Sculpt Nation Burn PM Review – The Basics

Sculpt Nation Burn PM is a natural night-time thermogenic formula designed to stimulate your body to burn more fat while sleeping.

According to the manufacturers, Sculpt Nation Burn PM contains powerful natural sleep enhancers which will help you enjoy a deeper sleep and have lower cortisol levels.

This is interesting. It says it’s a ‘thermogenic’ formula, but there’s no sight of thermogenics in Sculpt Nation Burn PM. It’ll be interesting to check the ingredients to see if this fat burner lives up to its claims.

One thing we’ll say, is that we weren’t blown away by these so-called “PM fat burners” in the past. We’ll talk more about this below, but in short, PM fat burners entail you take the supplement once before sleep, which leaves a lot of downtime between the doses.

How to Use Sculpt Nation Burn PM?

Sculpt Nation Burn PM dose is 2 capsules before bedtime. And that’s it!

Sounds really simple and easy to take, and it is. But is it the most effective way to take a fat burner? Definitely not!

There’s a reason why the most effective fat burners come with 3-4 servings per day. This keeps your body in a constant fat-burning mode.

This is also one of the reasons why PM fat burners rarely work. They can’t be taken multiple times per day, which limits their long-term effects.

Ingredients

Each serving of Sculpt Nation Burn PM supplies you with the following ingredients:

  • Vitamin D (2400IU/60mcg)
  • Raspberry Ketones (300mg)
  • White Kidney Bean Extract (300mg) – pointless because you won’t be eating carbs at night
  • Green Coffee Bean Extract (260mg) – same as green coffee beans
  • Dandelion Root Powder (200mg)
  • L-Tryptophan (80mg)
  • Saffron Bulb Extract (10mg)
  • Melatonin (5.4mg)
  • Lemon Bulb Aerial Parts Extract (4mg)

Vitamin D

VItamin D is a form of steroid hormone. Sounds crazy, but it’s not technically a vitamin at all. What vitamin D does is it binds to receptors throughout your body, which means it can have an effect on almost every aspect of health and performance – including weight loss.

Although it’s most commonly used in testosterone boosters due to its ability to enhance male hormone, its dosage in Sculpt Nation Burn PM is too low for that. You need 3,332IU or more of vitamin D daily to boost hormones; Sculpt Nation Burn PM only has 2,400IU.

Raspberry Ketones

Raspberry Ketones enjoyed a lot of marketing hype during one period. However, their reported fat burning effects have since been debunked.

Although some test tube cell studies showed Raspberry Ketones can boost fat breakdown, human studies show that this ingredient can’t get absorbed in the body very well, especially when you take it orally.

White Kidney Bean Extract

White Kidney Bean is a so-called ‘carb blocker’. When taken alongside carbs, it has a mild effect on their absorption. However, Examine.com states that White Kidney Bean’s effects are unreliable at best.

What’s more, since Burn PM is taken before sleep (and ideally on an empty stomach), it’s a pointless ingredient because you probably won’t eat a bunch of carbs at night.

If you do, then no fat burning pill will be strong enough to offset what you’re doing.

Green Coffee Bean Extract

This is the same thing as White Kidney Bean. It contains a compound chlorogenic acid which can slow down the absorption of carbs in your gut. Again, this is pointless if you’re not eating carbs right at that time (a.k.a before sleep).

Dandelion Root Powder

Dandelion, or Taraxacum officinale, is a flowering plant that may aid pancreas health. It also acts as a diuretic. Meaning, you lose water quickly when you consume Dandelion.

Don’t get fooled though, this won’t make you lose actual fat. All you’ll lose is water weight and potentially get dehydrated if you don’t drink enough fluid to offset its effects on the kidneys.

L-Tryptophan

L-Tryptophan is a dietary amino acids found in poultry, cheese and some other foods.

Your brain uses L-Tryptophan to make melatonin, which is a sleep hormone. This makes sense to include in a sleep/fat burning formula such as Burn PM. A good ingredient!

Saffron Bulb Extract

Saffron proudly carries the title of the world’s most expensive spice. Why is that so? Simply put, there’s a lot that goes into the process of growing saffron and then harvesting it carefully by hand.

In terms of its benefits, Saffron can be good for anxiety and stress. Therefore, it can help you avoid overthinking so you can fall asleep faster.

Melatonin

Melatonin is a natural sleep hormone made by your brain. It’s synethsized from another brain hormone, serotonin. Interestingly, you’ll also find melatonin in some foods such as tart cherries. Unfortunately, in the case of Sculpt Nation Burn PM, its melatonin is synthetic. This indicates low quality formula.

We’d much rather prefer a natural source of melatonin from tart cherries!

Lemon Bulb Aerial Parts Extract

Lemon Bulk can aid with some aspects of health such as anxiety and stress. It’s used as a calming agent, but it can also be sedating. Obviously you shouldn’t be taking this supplement at any other time than when you’re going to sleep.

Anything Missing?

There’s a lot missing from Sculpt Nation Burn PM. Not in the “PM” department – this has okay ingredients for sleep – but rather in the “Burn” department.

Ingredients missing from Sculpt Nation Burn PM Include:

  • Cayenne Pepper Extract
  • Zinc
  • Green Tea Extract (decaffeinated)
  • Glucomannan

Whereas cayenne pepper helps with thermogenesis – making your metabolic rate faster while you sleep – green tea extract and glucomannan increase satiety significantly so you can prevent those nighttime hunger pangs. Zinc, meanwhile, enhances hormonal balance helping ho lower the impacts of cortisol while you sleep.

Side Effects

Sculpt Nation BURN PM can make you urinate more often, due to dandelion that’s inside. Dandelion is also known to irritate the liver in some people.

There’s also the risk of overdoing it with saffron. Although a potentially healthy spice, you don’t want to be taking too much of it all the time. It can lead to dizziness, nausea and other side effects.

White Kidney Bean and Green Coffee Bean, meanwhile, may lead to bloating, depending on how sensitive your digestive system is.

Don’t ever drive a car after taking Sculpt Nation Burn PM as its ingredients will sedate you.

Price and Value for Money?

Burn PM costs $49 per bottle of 60 capsules. Taking the recommended 2 capsules per day means Sculpt Nation Burn PM will last you a month.

Keep in mind that you can only buy Burn PM on the official Sculpt Nation website. Although an odd stolen product sometimes appears on eBay or Amazon.

And value for money? We don’t think it’s great. This supplement is a sleep aid for the most part. Very little is in there that can help you actually burn fat. For $49, we certainly would expect a little more!

What do we think of this supplement? It can be great, or terrible, depending on how you look at it.

If you just want better sleep and lower cortisol levels, then Sculpt Nation Burn PM can be a great choice. Although, dandelion in this supplement might make you go to the toilet more often than you’d want.

As far as fat burning goes? We don’t think Sculpt Nation Burn PM is worth the money. It has a few decent ingredients, such as vitamin D and green coffee bean. But these are carb blockers and quite pointless for a supplement that’s best taken on an empty stomach before bedtime. Not to mention it’s missing an appetite suppressant or a thermogenic.

    -Exactly, for $49 I expect to do a little bit more other than put you to sleep faster (if used as recommended).

  2. The one question I haven’t been able to answer or see if anyone else is experiencing is heart-burn. I have been falling to sleep really fast and easy taking BURN PM. But after about an hour of being asleep I wake up and have horrible indigestion feeling / heart burn. Burping up a flowery taste (probably the raspberry keytones) .. any one else or thoughts?

    1. more recently i have experienced the same issue at first i was ok but after a few weeks of takin it started to give me upset stomach
