Elm & Rye Testosterone Support Review: Does it Really Work?

Here’s our Elm & Rye Testosterone Support review. Our team will be analyzing this brand new testosterone booster to see how it compares to other products on the market in terms of providing you with benefits such as increased energy, elevated libido, and an easier time building muscle and burning fat. Let’s kick this off with a quick summary.

[ELM & RYE TESTOSTERONE SUPPORT AT A GLANCE]

The Good

  • Contains DIM which helps lower estrogen
  • Contains LongJack may enhance your libido

The Bad

  • No supplement facts
  • 1 serving per day is not enough to maintain the effects between doses
  • The company is brand new and not much is known about them
  • No available independent reviews online
  • Costs $84.99 per bottle

Summary: Elm & Rye Testosterone Support is a supplement consisting of entirely natural ingredients. Elm & Rye claim their Testosterone Booster will nudge your body to make more testosterone naturally – which is a sensible claim. A good testosterone booster can do that. However, the ingredients in Elm & Rye Testosterone Support don’t reflect the manufacturer’s claims. Not only are there no supplement facts, it also only has a serving of 1 capsule per day. The lack of transparency around the ingredients prevents us from assessing if they are safely and effectively dosed. For the price of $84.99 per month, Elym & Rye isn’t the best natural Testosterone supplement we’ve tried.

About Elm & Rye Testosterone Booster

Testosterone Support is a brand new supplement from a brand new American company Elm & Rye. It comes in simplistic looking white bottles, each containing 30 capsules and costing a hefty $85.

For a brand new product with no independent reviews, this is even more expensive than the current market leading testosterone boosters.

Some will say, it must offer some incredible benefits to justify the cost. Here’s what the manufacturer says you’ll get:

Elm & Rye Testosterone Booster Claimed Benefits

Elm & Rye doesn’t just keep it simple in terms of design, they also kept a very short list of benefits of their Testosterone Support supplement, listing only one;

  • Helps boost healthy testosterone levels

Of course, if it can really raise your testosterone, this will provide other positive knock-on effects. Having healthy levels of this crucial anabolic hormone means you’ll have more energy, muscle building becomes easier, you get stronger, and your virility thrives. [1]

So, what is inside Elm & Rye that can raise your T levels? How will this testosterone booster work for you?

Before moving on to our analysis of its ingredients, you might be interested in a few curious things we learned about the Elm & Rye brand.

How we found out about Elm & Rye Testosterone Booster

We first saw it featured in Discover Magazine’s “top testosterone boosters” page, which surprised us a bit.

Websites that are as popular as Discover Magazine only tend to promote supplements that have a proven track record and have been in the industry for at least a few years. We think this is a good policy.

However, Discover Magazine has suddenly decided to replace the top testosterone boosters its been recommending up to this point with Elm & Rye Testosterone Support, a supplement that doesn’t have almost anything written about it online.

They’ve also installed Elm & Rye as their top product in other popular categories too, which might suggest Discover Magazine themselves are involved with the brand. There are no company details at all on the Elm & Rye website that we could find, so it’s difficult to say. Is that a problem? Some would say yes. We don’t think it is as long as Elm & Rye Testosterone Booster actually works and is a good value for money.

Let’s find out if it is!

How to Use Elm & Rye Testosterone Supplement

Elm & Rye Testosterone Supplement instructions are simple; you’re meant to take 1 capsule daily. While the website doesn’t say whether to take it with food, it’s good to do so as this will help you absorb the ingredients more efficiently.

A supplement having only 1 serving might be a good thing if we’re talking about a multivitamin. But not a testosterone enhancer. Why? Because, you want to be keeping a continuous supply of testosterone-boosting nutrients to your body so that you maintain the benefits 24/7. With only 1 serving, the effects wear off between the doses.

This becomes obvious when you take a look at the highest-rated testosterone boosters. What do they all have in common? They all have 3-4 servings per day! Sure, it costs more to produce more capsules, but if the manufacturer is serious about delivering results to its customers, they will go that extra mile!

Ingredients

Here are the ingredients in Elm & Rye Testosterone Support supplement:

  • Tribulus Terrestris Powder (Unknown dose)
  • Chrysin (Unknown dose)
  • Diindolymethane (DIM) (Unknown dose)
  • LongJack Eurycoma Longifolia Root (Unknown dose)
  • Gamma Oryzanol Powder (Unknown dose)
  • Calcium Carbonate (Unknown dose)

Other ingredients (fillers) include: Sillicon Dioxide, Ditab, Magnesium Stearate

As you have probably noticed, we can’t see the ingredients’ doses in Elm and Rye Testosterone Support. That’s because they’re hidden in a proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is a mixture of ingredients that doesn’t show you the individual dose of each ingredient in it, but rather lumps them all together into one big blob showing only their combined dose.

The issue with proprietary blends is that you can’t tell if the ingredients are safely or effectively dosed.

See for yourself:

Tribulus Terrestris Powder

Tribulus Terrestris is a small leafy plant that grows in warm and tropical climates around Euroasia and Africa. Tribulus was common in the early days of testosterone boosters. People believed it can enhance masculine virility, libido, and testosterone.

Today, though, you’ll see Tribulus in fewer and fewer supplements. Modern studies show it’s only good for men with benign hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), but it doesn’t boost testosterone.

Chrysin

Chrysin is a bioflavonoid molecule found in bee propolis and honey. It’s been heavily marketed as a potent testosterone booster, though in the words of Examine.com, this is a misleading claim. [2]

The catch is, chrysin will actually boost your testosterone levels when you inject it directly into testicles. Taken orally, chrysin isn’t absorbed at all. The only potential benefit of chrysin oral supplementation is a reduction in the risk of colon cancer.

Diindolymethane (DIM)

DIM is a child molecule of Indole-3-Carbinol, which is found in broccoli. DIM is the only ingredient in Elm & Rye Testosterone Support that has some evidence showing it may support your testosterone levels. Not directly, but by reducing the female sex hormone estrogen. [3]

DIM is a good ingredient when taken in doses of 50-100mg per day – more than that and it can ironically raise your estrogen levels and cause weight gain. [4] You’ve guessed it, we don’t know DIM’s dosage in Elm & Rye Testosterone support!

LongJack Eurycoma Longifolia Root

LongJack Eurycoma is an excellent choice for sexual health and desire. It promotes virility, increasing enjoyment in the bedroom. While people commonly mistake the libido boosters for testosterone boosters, they’re not the same. [5]

LongJack is a great libido booster, however, it doesn’t offer additional benefits that come from higher testosterone levels – like improved mood, increased confidence, easier time building muscle and staying lean, and so on.

Gamma Oryzanol Powder

Gamma Oryazon is a chemical extracted from rice bran oil. You’ll also find it in some fruits and vegetables. How can it help boost your testosterone? Well, it can’t.

Evidence doesn’t point to any type of testosterone-boosting activity, although it is beneficial for high cholesterol and symptoms of menopause (ironically). [6]

Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is more of a filler ingredient than anything else. It’s a good ingredient for general health and a great way to supplement more calcium into your diet if you aren’t already getting enough.

Your body needs calcium to build strong bones, properly send signals between nerves, and to regulate your heartbeat. Just don’t let anyone fool you into thinking your testosterone levels will be soaring from it!

Anything Missing?

What are our thoughts on Elm and Rye Testosterone Support’s ingredient profile?

It’s an incomplete formula. Apart from DIM and LongJack, there’s nothing in this supplement that will affect your testosterone or libido in a significant way.

It uses pointless ingredients that lack science. We would rather like to see more proven testosterone nutrients and herbs, including:

  • Vitamin D – studies show that 1 year of supplementation leads to significant increases in the male hormone. [7]
  • Magnesium – has the potential to increase your free testosterone levels by combating the SHBG protein.
  • Zinc – keeps your testosterone levels in a more youthful range and prevents a decline caused by stress.
  • Oyster Extract – a rich source of trace minerals that stimulate Leydig cells in your testes to make more T.
  • Ashwagandha – it’s a powerful adaptogenic herb that reduces cortisol by up to 30%, giving your testosterone more room to breathe.
  • Indole-3-Carbinol – a compound from broccoli that naturally breaks down into DIM in your body upon ingestion, reducing the risk of gynecomastia (man boobs), weight gain, and other symptoms of the elevated female hormone estrogen.

Customer Reviews

Because Elm & Rye Testosterone Support is a new product, there are not many reviews available online. This supplement is only available direct on the manufacturer’s website which makes finding customer reviews on impartial sites like Amazon a difficult task.

If you look at the customer reviews on Elm & Rye’s website, you’ll notice a few red flags. One, they only have 5-star reviews. Secondly, you’ll notice that the customer reviews date as far back as January 2020, which is od considering that Elm & Rye website was first registered in December 2020.

Side Effects

Elm & Rye Testosterone Support is unlikely to cause you side effects. Even though the ingredient doses aren’t listed, the ingredients themselves are fairly well studied and aren’t known to lead to adverse side effects.

That said, if there’s one ingredient to watch out for, it’s DIM. It can increase estrogen when taken in higher doses and for longer periods.

Price and Value for Money?

You can’t get Elm & Rye Testosterone Support on Amazon, eBay, or anywhere else other than Elm & Rye’s official website. The good news is that it ships to multiple countries, including the USA, Canada and the UK.

As you saw at the beginning, Elm & Rye Testosterone Support costs $75 for a bottle of 30 capsules. Considering all of its pros and cons, is it a good value for money? We’ll let you be the judge!

Conclusion to Elm & Rye Testosterone Support Review

Elm & Rye Testosterone Support is marketed as a supplement that will help boost your testosterone levels naturally. However, the inside of this supplement tells a different story.

The ingredients has no dosages, there’s no supplement facts. 1 capsule a day, hardly any ingredients.

The fake reviews go back to January 2020 but the domain elmandrye.com was first registered on Christmas day 2020 almost 12 months later.  Most of the reviews have women’s names, hardly any over a sentence long, all 5 stars.

We recommend doing more research. Save your money for a testosterone booster with proven natural ingredients. Elm & Rye Testosterone Support is best left alone.
