Alpha Male Max Review: Does it Really Work?

Welcome to our Alpha Male Max Review! We’ll be analyzing Alpha Male Max’s ingredients to see if they work and come with any potential side effects. First, a short product review summary, followed by a more detailed analysis from our team.

[ALPHA MALE MAX SUMMARY]: This product claims to boost your muscle gains and exercise performance, but after checking the formula, we doubt it’s going to do much. It only contains 2 active ingredients – Citrulline and Arginine. Citrulline is underdosed whereas Arginine only works for some people. If you’re one of them, you can expect an improvement in muscle pumps as well as an increase in erections thanks to arginine’s blood flow-boosting effects. That said, Alpha Male Max is missing a lot from its formula – including boron, zinc, vitamin D and other natural strength boosters. Overall, this one looks like an incomplete supplement.

Alpha Male Max Review – The Basics

Alpha Male Max is a male enhancer, workout booster and recovery supplement. It’s designed to help you get the most out of your exercise by:

  • Improving blood flow to working muscles
  • Enhancing muscle pumps
  • Optimizing oxygen and nutrient delivery for faster recovery

It comes with 60 capsules per bottle and will last you one month if you take the recommended 2 caps per day.

This isn’t one of the most exciting supplements we’ve seen. There’s little to no info about its manufacturers, there’s no price tag on Amazon and it even appears to be discontinued from production.

Some people are looking for Alpha Male Max customer service number. Unfortunately it’s not available at this moment in time. If you bought this product before and are looking to get your money back, it looks like you might not be able to do so.

Not to mention you’ll be hard pressed to find customer reviews on this product. So overall, our first impressions are pretty bad. Let’s check what ingredients this product has, maybe it’ll at least fare better in that department!

Ingredients

Each serving of Alpha Male Max supplies you with the following ingredients:

  • L-Arginine Proprietary Blend (Alpha-Ketoglutarate 2-1, L-Arginine, L-Arginine Monohydrochloride) (800mg)
  • L-Citrulline (5mg)
  • Dipotassium Phosphate (4mg)

As you can see, the whole formula revolves around L-Arginine. On the other hand, L-Citrulline and Dipotassium Phosphate, although included, are dosed at 5mg and 4mg respectively. At such tiny doses, they don’t make any difference.

That’s a shame though – L-Citrulline is more effective than L-Arginine at enhancing nitric oxide levels. By extension, Citrulline is more effective at boosting muscle pumps and workout efficiency.

So that essentially leaves us with one question; is L-Arginine good enough to supercharge your performance & recovery? For that, we’ll need to see how L-Arginine works in the body.

What is L-Arginine?

L-Arginine is a molecule found in red meat, fish, soy and other high-protein foods. It helps to produce nitric oxide, which is a compound that widens your blood vessels. This allows more blood to carry nutrients and oxygen into your cells.

As you can imagine, this makes it Arginine popular supplement amongst athletes – especially bodybuilders who want bigger muscle pumps.

L-Arginine is also used in cases of hypertension. In people with high blood pressure, you’ll typically discover they have low arginine levels. Supplementing this amino acid may help lower blood pressure a bit.

However, L-Arginine doesn’t absorb very well in your body when taken orally. Many studies show it has no effects on muscle pumps or exercise performance for this very reason.

A better alternative is L-Citruline which converts to L-Arginine in your kidneys. It also absorbs much better. This makes it a superior option for increasing blood flow to muscle tissue than Arginine itself.

This is why it’s sad to see that Alpha Male Max only has 5mg of Citrulline. This dose is as good as nothing. We guess the producers of Alpha Male Max put it on the label just for the sake of putting it. And it looks kind of misleading if we’re being honest.

The optimal Citrulline dosage for exercise performance and muscle growth is between 6,000-8,000mg! (source: https://examine.com/supplements/citrulline/)

Anything Missing?

If we made a supplement for boosting muscle growth and exercise performance, we’d add much more than what’s found in Alpha Male Max.

It’s essentially a one-ingredient-formula, with that one ingredient being ineffective. We may be harsh, we get it, but it’s a pointless supplement.

The best natural ingredients for increasing natural testosterone, muscle growth, and exercise performance on the market right now include:

  • L-Citrulline (only works at high enough doses!)
  • Ashwagandha
  • Rhodiola Rosea
  • Vitamin D
  • Zinc
  • Magnesium

There’s a lot more we could add here, but these are the essentials. Without at least a few of these, we can’t take a supplement too seriously.

How to Use Alpha Male Max (Dosage Instructions)

The Alpha Male Max dosage is 2 capsules per day, ideally with a glass of water and before your workouts. If you’re one of the lucky few who can absorb arginine efficiently, great for you! But it won’t work for most people. Making this a waste of money.

Side Effects

Although ineffective, there shouldn’t be any side effects from taking Alpha Male Max. This product only contains one active ingredient, which is L-Arginine. You’ll excrete most of it out since it doesn’t absorb very well.

Where to Buy?

Alpha Male Max is currently unavailable on Amazon. Apparently, this product can be bought on the official website, which we weren’t able to find. It appears it is discontinued.

Conclusion to Alpha Male Max Review

So that concludes our Alpha Male Max Review.

Honestly, this was one of the worst products we’ve reviewed. It only has one active ingredient that isn’t even proven to work. The rest is all filler ingredients to make the label look nicer. There’s no official price on this product; in fact, it appears there’s no official website that sells it anymore!

Although Alpha Male Max shouldn’t give you any side effects, it’s a pointless supplement that can’t boost muscle gains, workout performance, or any of the effects it claims. This supplement is best left alone.

Pros

  • Arginine might work for a very few people out there

Cons

  • Severely underdosed/incomplete ingredient profile
  • No company information
  • No official price – the product seems to be discontinued
  • Lacking legitimate reviews
