Sweat Ethic Victress Review

Sweat Ethic Victress – does this female vitality product work? It’s said to help you burn fat, balance your hormones, and make you feel better mentally. We’ll analyze its claims in a detailed review below, but before that, here’s a quick summary.

[SWEAT ETHIC VICTRESS SUMMARY] This is a decent product with a few downsides. The calcium dose is too low, which we think shouldn’t happen with a supplement like this one. Vitamin D is missing to help with calcium absorption in the bone. In addition, Victress is using 2 proprietary blends which prevent you from knowing the doses of each ingredient in it – you’re only able to see the total dose of the blend. This is a bit risky and frustrating as we can’t asses it for side effects. It also doesn’t work for fat loss, and despite having a great ingredient in Ashwagandha (helps your hormones), we aren’t able to see its dosage.

Sweat Ethic Victress Review – The Basics

Victress by Sweat Ethic is a supplement specifically made for women. As we age, both men and women undergo changes, but there aren’t too many options to help women tackle that problem better.

This is where Victress comes in, according to its manufacturers. It features a custom blend of herbal extracts with the addition of vitamin B6 and B12, Iodine and Calcium which helps you in supporting your metabolism, hormone balance and excess water weight reduction.

It also contains L-Tyrosine in unknown amounts, so we can’t tell if it works. Speaking of which, there are 2 proprietary blends in Sweat Ethic Victress which isn’t ideal. Proprietary blends hide ingredient doses in them, which prevents you from knowing how much you’re actually putting in your body. Needless to say, this not only means the ingredients could be potentially ineffective without you knowing, but they could also be overdosed without you knowing.

Ingredients

Sweat Ethic Victress Ingredients

Three main active ingredients in Victress are: Ashwagandha, Diindolylmethane (DIM), and Cayenne pepper Fruit extract.
They help you with reducing stress, regulating natural and healthy hormonal balance, and supporting metabolism levels in the body.

In addition, Victress also contains additional herbal extracts such as Dandelion extract, Caffeine, and Theanine, White Button Mushroom.

1. Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb that can reduce your cortisol levels and help regulate other hormones too. As such it’s a perfect ingredient for stress relief. It contains chemicals that help calm the brain, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure, and alter the immune system.

Although limited, research suggests that it may also boost your strength and improve glucose metabolism. Overall, if you sometimes feel overwhelmed, tense and have problems with dealing with anxiety, Ashwagandha may be a good natural solution to help you feel better. See an Ashwagandha study here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6979308/

2. DIM

Diindolymethane (DIM) has potent effects on estrogen metabolism and is able to keep your body balanced by preventing estrogen from “going wild”. (here’s a study link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3048776/)

Estrogen is the primary female sex hormone which breaks down in two other compounds, one of which is good for you and the other potentially harmful. Certain hormonal disbalances can make you prone to making more of the harmful estrogen metabolite, leading to health issues in the long-run.

DIM restores healthy hormone balance by adjusting the balance of bad estrogens to good estrogens. Lately, DIM has started picking up steam as a supplement of choice for women to help them deal with a variety of issues such as acne, PMS, mood swings, fibroids and menopause symptoms.

DIM also has different antioxidant effects on the body. It has the ability to reduce the risk of certain cancers, especially those influenced by excessive estrogen levels. All of that makes DIM a very good and healthy ingredient for all women, and especially for those who experience mood swings & hormonal changes due to aging.

3. Cayenne Pepper Extract

Cayenne pepper Fruit Extract contains an active substance called capsaicin, which has been studied for its ability to boost your metabolism.

It ramps up heat production in your body, making you more efficient at burning calories. Still, don’t expect wonders from this ingredient alone as the studies show its effects on the metabolism aren’t huge.

Another benefit of cayenne peppers is that they may reduce your hunger, helping you to eat less and feel fuller for longer which can be helpful if you plan on losing some weight. It’s not as effective as Konjac Root fiber for example, but it’s not too bad either!

Other than its limited effect on metabolism, capsaicin shows promise in reducing the risk of cancer. Some research shows that it helps slow the growth of harmful cells and may even induce apoptosis of different unhealthy cells.

Keep in mind though, that these benefits are only seen in animal and rat studies. So we should all take them with a grain of salt. Apart from its weight loss benefits, we don’t know how effective capsaicin is for humans in terms of general health benefits.

4. B6 and B12 vitamins

Victress contains a B6 and B6 combo. Both essential vitamins for producing energy that your body needs to carry out its basic functions.

However, if you’re an active woman, you’ll need to pay even more attention to your B vitamin intake as your need for them drastically increases when you exercise.

Together in Victress, vitamins B6 and B12 work in duet to combat homocysteine, a nasty byproduct of eating red meat that can clog up your arteries and lead to various issues. Such as memory loss, cardiovascular problems and so on.

Victress offers a good ratio of both of these vitamins, especially of B12, which is super important for women older than 40 because age makes it harder to absorb B12 from food. As you turn 40, and most importantly after 50, it is important to start taking Vitamin B 12 supplement.

Calcium

Calcium is a must-have nutrient for anyone, not least peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women who’re starting to experience what aging means.

Seriously, get your hands on the supply of this supplement as soon as possible, or try adding more food sources of calcium in your diet as it’s critical for keeping your bones from getting frail.

Since females are about 4x more susceptible to osteoporosis than males, getting enough calcium is essential for your lifelong bone health. Unfortunately, although present, Victress contains very little of this important mineral.

Anything Missing?

Calcium dosage should be higher, and with addition of vitamin D, which helps your body absorb calcium more efficiently. Calcium and Vitamin D play important role in the development and maintenance of healthy bones and prevention of osteoporosis, therefore optimum intake of calcium is very important for women as they age and have increased risk of osteoporosis.

How to Use Sweat Ethic Victress

Take two capsules with breakfast and cold water, and one after lunch with cold water. It is not recommended to consume more than three capsules in a 24-hour period.

Side Effects

Ashwagandha, although a natural ingredient, is potentially unsafe to use when pregnant. Some evidence points out that using ashwagandha might lead to miscarriages.

Also, there isn’t enough reliable information to know if ashwagandha is safe to use when breastfeeding, it’s better to stay on the safe side and skip this particular ingredient if pregnant or breast-feeding.

You should also consult your doc if you have an autoimmune condition before using Ashwagandha.

Other than that, Victress should be safe for most healthy individuals.

Price and Value for Money?

Price of the Victress is around $59.99, putting it into the category of some of the more expensive supplements. It’s not the most impressive value for money considering that it hides some of its key ingredients behind the proprietary blend and uses too little calcium, which really shouldn’t happen when you’re charging this much for a product.

Conclusion to Sweat Ethic Victress Review

Victress contains some good ingredients which could be useful for women who undergo hormonal changes due to aging.

It has some great anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic compounds, however, even though Victress is labeled as a supplement designed for women that are experiencing the effects of aging, it doesn’t contain enough of one of the most important minerals for women who experience aging’s effect– Calcium.

However, it still is a decent supplement with a few core nutrients like vitamin B12, but in our opinion, its price is a little too high.

Pros

  • Contains DIM which has great health benefits for woman
  • Good dosage of B6 and B12
  • Ashwagandha may help you reduce your stress levels, but the dose is unknown
