Alpha Lion Lions Blood Review – Is it Worth the High Price?

Alpha Lion Lions Blood Review

Here’s our Alpha Lion Lions Blood review. In this review, we’ll answer some of the common questions regarding Lions Blood, including: is this muscle-building supplement legit? Can it really improve your gains? Is it safe? First up, a short summary, followed by a detailed analysis.

[ALPHA LION LIONS BLOOD SUMMARY] This is a product that promises a lot, but doesn’t back it up with science. Alpha Lion Lions Blood only contains 3 ingredients: Laxosterone, Epicatechin and Black Pepper Extract. Laxosterone and Epicatechins are the main stars of this product, and are claimed to boost muscle growth, reduce cortisol and improve anabolic hormones. Black Pepper Extract helps with their absorption in the body. But what the studies say? Well, there’s very little evidence that confirms any of these claims. Plus, this product costs an absurd $75 for just 30 day worth of supplement, and only offers 2 servings per day. So even if the ingredients worked, their effects wouldn’t be maintained with such a skewed serving schedule.

Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood Review – The Basics

Alpha Lion Lions Blood is an interesting muscle building supplement. It contains only three ingredients which can apparently boost your muscle growth.

The manufacturers of this product say it helps lower myostatin levels (which is associated for muscle growth from training), along with boosting follistating (improves muscle protein synthesis) and reducing fat mass in your body.

Sounds good? Yeah, it does! But we’re curious to see the science behind Alpha Lion’s claims. Can it really help you build more muscle with only 3 ingredients? And is it safe?

Let’s check the ingredients.

Each capsule of Alpha Lion Lions Blood supplies you with the following ingredients:

  • Epicatechin (75mg)
  • Laxosterone (75mg)
  • Bioperine (5mg)

Only three ingredients inside! Will this be enough to raise your testosterone levels, help you build more muscle and have more strength?

We’ll look at that below, but before that, let’s touch upon proprietary blends. There are none in Alpha Lion Lions Blood. This is a good thing because proprietary blends hide ingredient doses on the label, so you can’t see how much you’re taking.

So props to Alpha Lion for being transparent. But can the ingredients hold up to scrutiny? Let’s inspect them to see.

Epicatechin is a compound from dark chocolate. It’s caught a lot of attention for its reported ability to boost muscle growth.

Epicatechin has ben suggested to lower myostatin levels in your body. What is myostatin, you ask? It’s a molecule that hinders muscle growth. The opposite of myostatin is follistatin, which boosts muscle growth.

In one human study, 150mg of epicatechin per day led to a decrease in myostatin levels and an increase in follistatin levels. Keep in mind, though, that this study didn’t have a placebo control group and it only included 6 middle aged men. So these results should be taken with a grain of salt.

Not only that, there are no other human studies done on epicatechin at this moment in time. We only have one in vitro (in test tubes) and one mouse study besides this.

So while these suggestions that epicatechin can boost muscle growth look promising, they’re still just speculations. Until more evidence comes out, we can’t recommend this as one of the safest or best ingredients to take long-term. If you want, you can simply eat more dark chocolate – it’s cheaper and offers more natural doses of epicatechins anyways.

Laxosterone ( –Hydroxy laxogenin)

Laxosterone is a compound found in the shrub called Smilax scobinicaulis. Sadly, it’s yet another unproven ingredient in Alpha Lion Alpha Gains.

If you look it up online, you’ll see that Laxosterone is touted as a muscle growth booster. Additionally, it’s been said to reduce weight gain and promote leaner body composition.

Laxosterone can also apparently balance your hormones. So you have less estrogen and more tesosterone.

While all of this sounds well and good, we can’t ignore that there aren’t any strong studies supporting these claims. We get it that Alpha Lion Lions Blood wanted to stand out from other testosterone boosters by including other, rarely seen ingredients. But this has backfired and made this product completely unproven and potentially ineffective.

Bioperine is the last of the three ingredients in Alpha Lion Lions Blood. It doesn’t boost testosterone or muscle growth. Instead, it’s there to improve the digestion of other ingredients.

Based on all that we’ve seen, it looks like Lions Blood’s formula is completely ineffective at doing what it claims.

Anything Missing?

Yes. There’s a lot missing from Lions Blood if your goal is to boost muscle growth and raise testosterone levels.

Vitamin D is the biggest omission for sure. It’s the most powerful natural anabolic ingredient. It not only boosts muscle growth but also your testosterone production – making you feel better mentally and stronger physically.

Another ingredient that’s missing from Lions Blood is Indole-3-Carbinol. This is a compound from broccoli that helps to lower estrogen levels, which gives testosterone more room to grow.

To further boost muscle mass and hypertrophy, you should consider taking Ashwagandha. This natural ingredient is often included in best testosterone booster for its ability to supercharge muscle strength and performance. Ashwagandha is also studied for its ability to significantly lower cortisol, a stress hormone that can kill your gains when chronically high.

How to Use Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood (Dosage Instructions)

Alpha Lion Lions Blood comes with 1 capsule per serving. You can take up to 2 servings per day.

This is a simple way to take a supplement, but is it the best way? Not in this case!

When taking a muscle building supplement or a testosterone booster, you’ll want to be taking it continually throughout the day. So that means 3 or 4 daily servings.

Annoying? Yes. But it’s also the most effective way to maintain the effects between the doses – keeping you testosterone levels high at all times.

Side Effects

Keep in mind that all of the ingredients in Alpha Lion Lions Blood, except for BioPerine, have very little research behind them. So it’s impossible to tell if they are safe to take long-term, and if they come with any side effects when taken in higher doses.

In the short-term, it shouldn’t cause you any issues. Definitely speak with your doctor if you suspect or have any kind of medical condition though.

Price and Value for Money?

Looking to buy Alpha Lion Lions Blood? You may be put off by its absurdly high price – $79.95 per bottle. Keep in mind that if you take the recommended 2 servings per day, it will only last you a month.

Considering that this product consists of unproven and potentially ineffective ingredients, it’s not a good value for money in our eyes. For this kind of price, there’s a lot better stuff that can be found on the market.

Pros and Cons

  • Laxosterone may potentially help with muscle growth

  • Only 3 ingredients in the formula, one of which is Black Pepper Extract
  • None of the ingredients are proven to help with muscle growth or testosterone in any way
  • Laxosterone only has 1 study (which was poorly designed) that shows it could improve muscle growth
  • High price
  • Poor serving schedule

Conclusion to Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood Review

So that concludes our Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood review. Is this product worth your money?

If you want my honest opinion, no one from our team would buy it. It’s a formula that sells hope, not actual science. The ingredients in it are touted as these miracle muscle boosters, but they’re lacking clinical human studies to prove this to be the case.

If you’re looking to get the best results possible, then you may want to do more research before buying this one.

I think you’ve reviewed the wrong product. You keep mentioning the lack of testosterone boosting effects of this supplement when it’s not a test booster. This particular supplement has nothing to do with testosterone, nor does it claim to. If you are looking to review a test booster by Alpha Lion, you should be reviewing Alpha Gains.

      Hi Eric,

While it’s true that Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood is mainly a muscle building supplement, other sites also sometimes refer to it as a T enhancer. It can be hard for a layperson to differentiate between the two because they tend to offer similar benefits. Take a look at this post:

The author of this post says: “We reviewed the Alpha Lion Lion’s Blood on three categories. We first start by looking at its ingredient profile and dosage. This portion of the review looks at the different ingredients used and whether or not they are proper dosages in this testosterone booster.”

You also mentioned Alpha Lion Alpha Gains, which we already reviewed – you can find it here:

      Hope that clarifies everything!
